Its The "You Don't Say" Tax

The Scorpion and the Frog

A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the corpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The frog asks, "How do I know you won't sting me?" The scorpion says, "Because if I do, I will die too."

The frog is satisfied, and they set out, but in midstream, the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown, but has just enough time to gasp "Why?"

Replies the scorpion: "Its my nature..."

Why on God's greenish-grey and increasingly less white capped Earth would I share this classic fable from the great Aesop? Well, after years of listening to Democrats prattle on about making the rich, and the rich only, pay for all their socialist wet dreams, well guess what?

President Barack Obama's treasury secretary said Sunday he cannot rule out higher taxes to help tame an exploding budget deficit, and his chief economic adviser would not dismiss raising them on middle-class Americans as part of a health care overhaul.

If fiscal policy under the Bush Administration didn't have the clarity of mud the 2010 referendum on Obama would be a slam dunk instead of just the layup its slowly becoming (indeed there would be no President Obama in the first place sans Republican incompetence and arrogance).

I've always sort of naively trusted that liberals wouldn't literally send the country over the cliff...after all, much to their chagrin they have to live here too, and I don't see mass immigration to Sweden, so they must not really believe their own rhetoric because Pepto Bismol donates hardly anything to them so they wouldn't have the luxury of actually believing in their philosophy.....right?

Boy do I owe myself a big "I told 'ya so."

If politicians represent Narcissus then money is the river that enchants them with their own reflection. Politicians love to carry on as if the economy would completely collapse if government can't get its books balanced. In fact its exactly the opposite, but that doesn't stop them from imposing themselves on the very thing they need to even be relevant.

Unlike the chicken/egg enigma we know economies come first (and by we I mean the Americans who know Obama is trying to put the "hell" in health). Without an economic system the need for government flat out doesn't exist, because without a system there is no need for a society, and without that who needs rules?

But politicians mouths run faster than their minds (like current vice presidents who shall remain nameless) so of course they would get this wrong.

I've never taken Obama for a fool, but its quickly manifesting itself that he doesn't realize that the aforementioned idiocy of the Republican Party from 2004-2008 is what got him elected, a lot of people voted for "reasonable" Obama (or as I like to think of it..."Bruce Wayne" Obama, the mask he wears that make him acceptable to normal law abiding people) that spoke to them on the campaign trail....not "crazy Chicago Democrat" Obama accountable to MoveOn (which by the way, never does) and George Soros.

Disgruntled Republicans, confused Independents, and a slickly unprecedented marketing campaign is what got him elected....NOT HIS IDEAS!

Obama actually thinks he has a mandate for this nonsense because he was elected by numbskulls that parroted his bumper sticker zombie campaign?

Whats his slogan for 2012 going to be?

If you voted for Obama and you're smart enough to be offended by the above image then you need to know that you made a decision last year that was completely beneath you.
