Did The Gulf Oil Spill Pull A Houdini?

All of a sudden according to the Obama administration we're getting reports that the gulf has dodged an ecological bullet? Apparently everything is good, the oil is evaporating.

Does ANYONE buy this crap? Oil gushed into the ocean for MONTHS without end to the tune of 5 million barrels. Liberals begged for straight jackets when Exxon Valdez spilled, at its highest estimate, spilled about 750,000 barrels. The ecosystem there STILL hasn't totally recovered.

By the most liberal estimate the gulf oil spill is more than 5 times worse and we're supposed to believe the problem...just went away?

Something tells me the people who put this report together are going to admit they made a mistake sometime after November 2. I don't know...just a hunch.

But don't ask me, I'm a peon whose conservative brain can't comprehend how common sense is defied...

Also, I'm at war with science.

We Don't Need New Ideas, Just A New President

It has been said by some that Obama is the smartest president ever, and I'm still waiting for proof because last time I checked arrogance laced playground logic is not much of a factor in the calculating an intelligence quotient.

"Now, understand, it'd be one thing if the Republicans had seen the error of their ways. Right?" Obama said. "I mean, if after the rejections of 2006 and 2008, realizing, gosh, look at this big disaster that we caused and taking record surpluses into record deficits and causing all this hardship -- we're going to rethink our approach and go out in the wilderness for a while, come back with some new ideas.
KICKING AND SCREAMING is AKA "democracy for progressives"

Did the GOP botch things to the point of deserving to lose power, YES! But the only reason they didn't "go out into the wilderness" because the entire country is there now after Obama dragged it KICKING AND SCREAMING out there with him. There simply wasn't any more room.

This president is on a trajectory to bring more debt to the country than every president before him combined, and he has the nerve to still pop a squat on what the GOP did? Does he think his sinking poll numbers are just dumb luck?

Nobody who hasn't erected a shrine to MSNBC believes Obama is making an honest effort to improve anything. He has made it as clear as the door to the socialist closet he hides behind that he cares more about ideology and less about having the intellectual curiosity to figure out what the right thing to do about anything would be.

They don't have a single idea that's different from George Bush's ideas -- not one.

This is getting to be so old now, this idiot bashes Bush so much I'm starting to wonder if his marriage to Michelle is a sham.

The recession brought on by the dot com bubble burst came under the Clinton watch. 90% of 9-11 was being planned by Al Queda while Bill Clinton was president. White House interns confused blue dresses with sponges, and you'll find Obama's real birth certificate delivered to Congress via Santa Claus riding a unicorn before you'll ever read a single instance of George W. Bush blaming Bill Clinton for ANYTHING he had to deal with.

So what "new ideas" does the GOP need to come up with anyway? What the hell has been so new about what King DippO brings to the table?

If the world was a party where everyone was drinking beers and yucking it up to movie quotes from "The Hangover" Obama would be the goofball in the corner sipping Smirnoff Ice from a straw and shouting "AAAAOOOOOOO Buuuuuuudy" because he finally got around to renting "Encino Man" on VHS...and he wants to talk about THAT.

The "remaking" of America he promised in his 2008 victory speech has been nothing more than the jamming of European laws and values down Uncle Sam's throat. And even they are cocking their heads in bemusement at this since neither side has the money to continue the lie that socialism works anymore.

Man I would love to have a chance to debate this guy...mano y teleprompter...I know I'm just a peon, but a six year old could deconstruct his arguments, so I think I can take him.

Why.....why does the GOP need new ideas? "New" ideas are getting us into this mess.

100 years ago 8 grades would cram into one school house and armed with a chalkboard and books (information boxes that don't need to be plugged into a wall) 8th graders were passing exams that today's college student with wifi laptops and wikipedia fail....because educators are always on the look out for...new....ideas...and not focusing on what WAS working.

"New ideas" is just a buzz word ploy to dishonestly characterize systems, such as capitalism, that actually work when they aren't being abused as in need of replacement. Isn't this the kind of "either your with us or against us" stuff that made liberals wet their pants suits when Bush was president?

Here's a good idea, how about the president and congress try reading the instruction manual that came with this government? Its a little bit longer than the Arizona Immigration Law that they refuse to look at...also, unfortunately for us, its not a new idea...

The Anti-ACLU

The Alliance Defense Fund is what the ACLU would be if it would just lay off the smack long enough to realize its a soul-sold whore protecting some of the most evil behavior humanity is capable of.

Its not often I get in the role of advocacy, because that's not necessarily the purpose of this blog, but this is a good organization that is literally doing God's work in protecting the "freedom of religion" part of the first amendment.

I recently spotted an article involving them on at Fox News titled Lawsuit Claims College Ordered Student to Alter Religious Views on Homosexuality, Or Be Dismissed. This piqued my curiosity as to what country this fascist nonsense was happening in.

A graduate student in Georgia is suing her university after she was told she must undergo a remediation program due to her beliefs on homosexuality and transgendered persons.

Georgia.....hmmm.....the one that borders Russia....right?

The student, Jennifer Keeton, 24, has been pursuing a master's degree in school counseling at Augusta State University since 2009, but school officials have informed her that she'll be dismissed from the program unless she alters her "central religious beliefs on human nature and conduct," according to a civil complaint filed last week.

Oh holy hell they mean our Georgia! As should be imagined, a lawsuit is in progress and the ADF is on the case.

Yeah I already read the story so I shouldn't feign shock, but like a Democrat proposing a new government program to solve some problem, every time I click the link I like to think "maybe this time would be different."

I love how Augusta State faculty deems that Keeton needs "remediation." Maybe they're embarrassed that Keeton has made it all the way through the public education gauntlet to grad school while maintaining her faith.

Maybe the faculty of Augusta State University should go through American Remediation and be exposed to the secret documents that frame our laws and value system...like the Constitution.

I have to be honest, I'm not surprised that we've been moving toward this Brave New Anti-Christian world, but it is kind of a shock to see the machine that fulfills Orwell's prophecies working so brazenly in a state like Georgia. I guess that unlike illegal immigration in Arizona it looks like re-education camps know no borders.

"The faculty identifies Miss Keeton's views as indicative of her improper professional disposition to persons of such populations," the lawsuit reads.

Point, Augusta State...I have no doubt these Orwellian-college-think-monkeys who want to expel students, who are not actually failing out of school, for having the audacity to be Christian (aka the REAL audacity of hope) would know exactly what it means to have an "improper professional disposition."

Maybe they'll back off if she changes her name to Iraq, or Iran, or Shirley Sherrod

I will grant the university this, we don't know from the article what Keeton has written that has given them cause for concern. However, all of this is taking place at a public institution, and her first amendment right to both speech and religion are protected. Should she graduate and start a career as a counselor her record at that point should speak for itself and not have to endure preemptive strikes launched against it by a bunch of book jockey's that don't live in the real world.

Keeton has already become a cause celeb on Facebook, she has both a Support and Remove page for her.

As of this writing I don't know if that eloquently worded gem of persuasion is still posted there, but I don't care to keep checking either.

Oliver Stone in Context

It's not news that many Hollywood elites like Oliver Stone are apologists for, if not downright friendly to leftist dictators, and are more than likely commies themselves.

Now Oliver Stone latest documentary intellectual snuff film "Secret History of America" seeks to put guys like Hitler and Stalin "in context." (according to this Newsbusters post)

If you want to place bets on how many days will pass before I will buckle down and watch that fine piece of cinema, I would take the over on that.....WAY OVER. Even then you still might lose, because I don't how your bookie would be able to gauge the over on eternity.

The only movie I remember seeing of his was World Trade Center, and that's because watching it didn't propel me into some leftist twilight zone. At this point, however, I think there is only one other Oliver Stone movie I would ever plunk down stimulus money for the rest of my time in this life....
