WHAT! Willow Palin Acted Like A Kid?!?

Sarah Palin's 16-year-old daughter Willow Palin used multiple homophobic slurs -- including the word f**got -- to attack a Facebook user who criticized her mom's new reality show .... TMZ has learned.

During the premiere of "Sarah Palin's Alaska" Sunday night -- a boy named Tre who went to school with the Palin kids wrote a status update that read, "Sarah Palin's Alaska, is failing so hard right now."

The comment sparked an intense response from Willow -- who replied on the boy's wall, "Haha your so gay. I have no idea who you are, But what I've seen pictures of, your disgusting ... My sister had a kid and is still hot."

Willow followed up that comment with another that read, "Tre stfu. Your such a f**got."

Bristol Palin also got in on the smacktalk -- writing a message to Tre saying, "You're running your mouth just to talk sh*t."

Eventually, a message board war erupted -- and Bristol took aim at another person named Jon -- saying, "You'll be as successful as my baby daddy, And actually I do work my ass off. I've been a single mom for the last two years."

That's it! I'm packin' up my "I ♥ Palin tent and leavin' camp for the Democrats. This is outrageous that a KID would use the word "faggot" while trash talking some jerk who wants to tear her mom down.

I thought we taught kids to be better than that. I thought we moved past such vulgarity since I was her age in the 90's. I thought kids today were too PC with their trash talk.

The gay community has come TOO FAR to put up with this homophobic crap.

Time out...I need to catch my breath...

Stop Tre, you're such a person exercising your lifestyle choice to love men in a sexual way, and that's your choice, but I'm going to use that fact about you to put you down without your permission now.

You would never see "progressive" liberals engage in THAT kind of hate sir! can't that moral high ground or a sink hole?

Ok, look, the bottom line is Willow and Bristol should've been above all of this for the sake of their mother. They weren't, they're kids, and at least they're more mature than the monkeys pictured above. So liberals like can go ahead and spare us the sanctimony on this one.

Pelosi Retains Her Face...uh...Place As Leader of the Dims

Democrats elected Nancy Pelosi as their minority leader on Wednesday, but only after a brutal two days of arguing behind closed doors and a 150-43 vote that revealed a bloc of disgruntled Democrats to be firmly in the anti-Pelosi camp.

Pelosi’s win as Democratic leader was expected, but the bumpy ride was perhaps the greatest challenge to her authority since she claimed the speaker’s gavel four years ago. Pelosi defeated conservative North Carolina Democrat Heath Shuler, who ran for minority leader saying, “We need to include others in leadership.”

For the sake of the conservative blogosphere I have to confess, I'm relieved. Heath Shuler seems like a nice guy. Do you know how long it would take to find something to skewer him on?

Ok, probably not that long...but still.

In the end it's nice to see liberals didn't compromise on their value of rewarding failure. See the 2010 election cycle was not a year totally bereft of victory for them.

Lastly...Congrats. Speaker-elect Boehner! We'll be watching you and your new congress very closely.

Is Dipping a Tea Bag in the Company Ink Hypocrisy?

Oh lordy, you should see the liberal blogosphere on this one....

A conservative Maryland physician elected to Congress on an anti-Obamacare platform surprised fellow freshmen at a Monday orientation session by demanding to know why his government-subsidized health care plan takes a month to kick in.

Republican Andy Harris, an anesthesiologist who defeated freshman Democrat Frank Kratovil on Maryland's Eastern Shore, reacted incredulously when informed that federal law mandated that his government-subsidized health care policy would take effect on Feb. 1 – 28 days after his Jan. 3rd swearing-in.

They think this guy is being a hypocrite because he wants health insurance FROM HIS EMPLOYER. Yeah its the government, but I don't work for the government, and he doesn't want me to have their healthcare, and neither do I. Certainly not by force.

italics=desire for web-safe retarded font

I can hear liberals now...Why don't you want government health care if it's good enough for congress?

Its not the going to be the same service geniuses. Do you ever see the president dining out on government cheese?

This is nowhere near the hypocrisy liberals would like it to be...

Nix (Harris's spokesworman) said Harris, who is the father of five, wasn’t being hypocritical – he was just pointing out the inefficiency of government-run health care.

Got spin? Maybe, I've only had one employer in my entire career that started health benefits on day one (and I might be mistaken), but the way liberals at blogs like the ironically named Crooks and Liars are getting so apoplectic about this puts on full display the mental malfunction of their ability to think logically.

There's also that carbon "footprint"

If I went to a Mexican restaurant ordered a burrito, was given the choice of red or green sauce and chose red, these guys would probably accuse me of hating the environment for refusing to go green.

The only remotely rational comment came from Ezra Klein

The point isn't that it's hypocritical to oppose health-care subsidies for poorer people or an individual mandate while simultaneously wanting every benefit your federal job gives you. Those positions can coexist. It's Harris's fear at being uninsured. But whatever else you think of the health-care law, it really does keep people from being uninsured.

There was no fear! Harris is prepared to buy his own insurance until his new employer's plan kicks in. The "fear" is merely a liberal projection needed to fuel this "hypocrisy" pipe dream.

Furthermore, it has been said on this blog before it's not about having insurance, its about making healthcare more affordable in the first place. Insurance cost rises with medical costs, so what good does it do for your wallet if the price of medicine continues to skyrocket out of control?

Obama's approval rating isn't dropping like a rock because Biden isn't being Biden enough, it's because he's a president who couldn't move America up an escalator that's going that way much less be a real leader.

"Stupid" insurance does not a presidency save. Solving problems always requires tackling its source. So this obsession over health INSURANCE is nothing more than a way to grab power and control people.

Thinking this and then demanding health insurance, if it is a stipulated benefit from your employer, even from the federal government, is NOT hypocrisy.

Who Is The American Narcissus?

If I wasn't going to say who you would've needed only one guess anyway...

Barack Obama is American Narcissus

This piece is based on an article in the latest edition of The Weekly Standard, "American Narcissus" by Jonathan V. Last. It's a rare that an article manages to truly grab me from start to finish....

Why has Barack Obama failed so spectacularly? Is he too dogmatically liberal or too pragmatic? Is he a socialist, or an anticolonialist, or a philosopher-president? Or is it possible that Obama’s failures stem from something simpler: vanity. Politicians as a class are particularly susceptible to mirror-gazing. But Obama’s vanity is overwhelming. It defines him, his politics, and his presidency.

It’s revealed in lots of little stories. There was the time he bragged about how one of his campaign volunteers, who had tragically died of breast cancer, “insisted she’s going to be buried in an Obama T-shirt.” There was the Nobel acceptance speech where he conceded, “I do not bring with me today a definitive solution to the problems of war” (the emphasis is mine). There was the moment during the 2008 campaign when Obama appeared with a seal that was a mash-up of the Great Seal of the United States and his own campaign logo (with its motto Vero Possumus, “Yes we Can” in Latin). Just a few weeks ago, Obama was giving a speech when the actual presidential seal fell from the rostrum. “That’s all right,” he quipped. “All of you know who I am.” Oh yes, Mr. President, we certainly do.

My favorite is this line from page 160 of The Audacity of Hope:

I find comfort in the fact that the longer I’m in politics the less nourishing popularity becomes, that a striving for power and rank and fame seems to betray a poverty of ambition, and that I am answerable mainly to the steady gaze of my own conscience.

So popularity and fame once nourished him, but now his ambition is richer and he’s answerable not, like some presidents, to the Almighty, but to the gaze of his personal conscience. Which is steady. The fact that this sentence appears in the second memoir of a man not yet 50 years old—and who had been in national politics for all of two years—is merely icing.
